About Me
I've always been fascinated with visual storytelling, from the dynamic video game worlds I grew up with as a kid, to sprawling multi-season series I explored as a teenager. It's a medium nothing else compares to.
I think that's what drove me from my quiet corner of rural West Yorkshire to Canterbury and London, where I spread my wings as an award-winning student filmmaker and writer.
Since then, I've gotten stuck into the film and television industry, working to assist writers in developing their craft and fundamentals. Along the way, I've been trusted by top companies, festivals and competitions to analyse, judge and strengthen their work. It's a solid track record and I'm ready to share my passion with the world.
Over the years, I've found that screenwriting is a team sport. The very best scripts are typically born from collaboration and that's why I'm always up for being your partner! Whether that's just someone to bounce ideas off or advise you in-depth on your next draft, I'm game.
My focus is always on delivering practical notes that you can work with and explaining the logic behind them, so you can emerge with both a stronger project and a smarter writer.
When I'm not working with clients, you can find me creating video essay content for my YouTube channel, or playing with my critically acclaimed metal band Burner.
